The Ron Kaye’s Music Instruction Band Rocked Pensacola’s Warrington Elementary School on June 2, 2011

PENSACOLA, FL May 27,2011 - Ron Kaye's Music Instruction, a staunch supporter of Music Education in the public schools, has announced that its' flagship performance band will perform three concerts at Warrington Elementary School in Pensacola, Thursday June 2nd, 2011. The free concerts will be in support of Music Education and the school's Positive Behavior System.

Warrington Elementary School's P.B.S. program is implemented throughout the school year rewarding students for displaying appropriate target behaviors. According to the Warrington Elementary School website, students are rewarded for good behavior in the form of  “Cat Cash” which can then be exchanged for special planned activities. The R.K.M.I. Band Concert has been planned to give the students a chance to have a really good band perform for them and to learn a little something about the benefits of studying music.

“For Ron Kaye's Music Instruction the concert is a way for us to do something special for the kids, teachers, and aids in a local public school and remind them of the importance and benefits of good behavior and studying music,” said Ron Kaye - the owner of Ron Kaye's Music Instruction. He went on to say that the R.K.M.I. Band will also be featuring a 10yr. old drummer, who is also a student at Warrington Elementary. “I think it is really cool for the kids to see one of their peers performing with a professional band,” said Mr. Kaye.

The R.K.M.I. Band is directed by Ron Kaye who is an Educational Endorser for ProMark Drumsticks, a drummer and multi-instrumentalist, the founder of Ron Kaye's Music Instruction, and a musician with decades of experience in music and music education. The Band includes Mr. Kaye's son, Joshua, also a multi-instrumentalist - guitar & vocals, and member of The ProMark Percussion Education Team, Caroline Kaye, a multi-instrumentalist - on bass, Mrs. Kyle Kaye, vocalist and keyboard player - also a local elementary music teacher, and 10yr. old drummer - Mataeus Cardoso.
